There is nothing wrong or confusing about the Novus Ordo Mass. And the Novus Ordo Mass is not Protestant because of the doctrine of transubstantiation. Whaaaat? Lol you must be new around here...the NO is utterlly NON Catholic and extreamly doubtfull whether transubstantiation occurs...in fact I would pray God for the sake of Our Lords dignity that it doesnt occur. Go to the resources Page by following the link after this quote During the Novus Ordo Mass the doctrine of transubstantiation is very much present during the consecration of the bread and wine.

Peace of mind and relaxation from the vicissitudes of life is a health benefit. Sounds like you could use somthing to relax. Btw Im telling you we dont take kindly to broad detractions against folks you dont even know...so since you're new here Ill be patient...but drop the assinine "assinines". You dont like tobacco...we get it. All Medical Doctors state that there is no health benefit from smoking but only health problems.

(Not interested in the Protestant Novus Ordo private interpretation on the matter.)

As far as I know the Church follows St Paul...all things in moderation...and dont be a stumbling block to others. Only the new church feels it necessery to stick its nose into political and cultural issues that are not about faith and morals. Moderate use of legal recreational tobacco...alcohol...possibly pot if legal (debateable) has not seemed to fall into the perview of the True Church. Father Kramer m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1560498150662257&id=100001062625092 defends it (tobacco) as Did GK Chesterton and Tolkien

Father Kramer Just read where Fr. Kramer states "in the Nervous Ordo smoking is a sin, but homosexuality isn't". As usual the Novus Ordo has it backwards!!

(Not interested in the Protestant Novus Ordo private interpretation on the matter.) Medical Science proved a long time ago that smoking causes cancer and all kinds of other health problems and produces absolutely no health benefits whatsoever. So it is useless to smoke if it produces no health benefits whatsoever. Take a look at a radiograph of a smoker and it shows the lungs are all messed up from smoking. It really is pathetic that anybody would smoke.

I asked what the Catholic Church says on the matter. You evidently are hung up on bashing people who use tobacco. Sounds Protestant to me.

Why are you not interested that Medical Science states that smoking causes cancer and other health problems? My Mother passed away from Lung Cancer brought about by smoking(even though she had quit several years before). So don't come around with this nonsense that smoking does not cause cancer and that it is perfectly acceptable to smoke.

Where does the Catholic Catechism say smoking is a "sin"?? I never said smoking doesn't cause cancer. Eating sugar can cause some people to become diabetic. Eating fat can cause some people to have clogged arteries. Salt can cause some people to have high blood pressure......, etc..etc..
