Another error I have been encountering coming from the Protestant/Novus Ordites is the "no drinking alcohol and no using tobacco in any way". Sounds like more Protestant belief than Catholic to me. Can someone clarify. Thanks. CHRISTS first miracle?

In my 2 yrs back to the true Catholic Faith (pre-Vatican II) whenever I encounter Novus Ordites or "google" a church doctrine, all I get is a bunch of nonsensical stuff. I have encountered recently people who have Novus Ordo Masses said for persons who have committed suicide. What is the true Catholic doctrine on having Masses said for deceased persons who committed suicide?

One of the most confusing beliefs I have encountered since returning to the Faith is "Invincible Ignorance". I have read various opinions on the subject and they all state something different. Could somebody please explain the true doctrine on "Invincible Ignorance"??

You might be better off, instead of trying to figure out what Novus Ordoites say is true, i.e. Catholic, by just reading/studying a few good books on the basics, like My Catholic Faith or This is the Faith

Can somebody give me the true Catholic definition of "scrupulous"? How would someone know if they were being "scrupulous"??

I am so tired of trying to sort through the confusion created by the Protestant-Novus Ordo. I keep reading that "everyone" is a child of God. (I thought you had to be in a "state of Grace to be a child of God)?? That if someone sins against you that you are to "just forgive them" even if they won't apologize or admit their wrongdoing. (God doesn't "just" forgive unless I confess my sins and do penance)!! Will somebody please clarify for me the true Catholic teaching on these subjects?? There is nothing wrong or confusing about the Novus Ordo Mass. And the Novus Ordo Mass is not Protestant because of the doctrine of transubstantiation.

Can someone clarify. Thanks. Well considering that it is totally asinine to smoke or use any tobacco product because smoking does not produce any health benefit then stating not to use tobacco in any way is fine. Why smoke if it produces no health benefit?

Lol you must be new around here...the NO is utterlly NON Catholic and extreamly doubtfull whether transubstantiation occurs...in fact I would pray God for the sake of Our Lords dignity that it doesnt occur. Smoking does not bring about any health benefit but only health problems. And you are defending that stupid habit? It is totally asinine to smoke if it does not provide any health benefits but only brings about health problems. Smoking does not harm anybody? Second hand smoke is very harmful to non smokers. Back when those Popes smoked the medical evidence about the harmful effects of smoking was not known.

Peace of mind and relaxation from the vicissitudes of life is a health benefit. Sounds like you could use somthing to relax. Btw Im telling you we dont take kindly to broad detractions against folks you dont even know...so since you're new here Ill be patient...but drop the assinine "assinines". You dont like tobacco...we get it.
