How about some advice for things you might have wished to know before becoming a "traditionalist" Catholic?
Mine? Children are the fruit of marriage, make them welcome at mass. Don't frown at them, or their parents.
Don't expect stability.
Traditionalist priests and bishops cannot elect a pope. If it were lawful, you would never get them all in a room together. Stop thinking about it.
Every chapel has a conspiracy guy, a matriarch, and a priest hog.
You don't have to tell everyone everything about yourself, or take their advice.
You don't have to get rid of your TV, only use OLV homeschool materials, or buy an entire new wardrobe.

What tv shows on cable would you recommend? I am honestly curious? The Cartoon Network shows that promote homosexuality or the shows interspersed with viagra commercials? You do realize that the people who produce television shows are the avowed enemies of Christ? What do you use the TV for besides the local news or the weather channel?

Conspiracy is real. Living as a Catholic that believes in providence, I am not worried about it.

I can't watch little house on the prairie without being able to pick out religious indifferentism and the social ideas the producers were trying to promote in the era the show was made.

Dvd's of the Lord of the Rings or the Passion could be useful. Old cartoons might be useful. The Old Sherlock Holmes episodes could be okay. The list of morally acceptable material to watch is quite small.

I'll let you rephrase this so it doesn't sound like you are talking to a child. If you can do that, maybe I will answer you.

I am being honest. The list of shows or movies that would be found morally acceptable is tiny. The way you wrote your post is a reproach to those families who have prudently chucked Thier tv's for solid moral reasons.

I wish I had known that colleges are really just debt traps...no better than any other banksters.

I wish I would have known how bad my formation was and how much instruction I needed. So much of what I thought I knew was tainted with modernism.
I wish I would have known that a person like me ought to have been quiet and humble on traditional Catholic forums.
I wish I would have known that I should not try to argue and push my husband into becoming a traditional Catholic.

By the Good Lord of Heaven...please borrow as little as possible and make sure the degree is marketable...(even then there are zero guarantees of jobs)

I wish I had known that colleges are really just debt traps...no better than any other banksters. It's the private Catholic colleges that are debt traps. $200,000 over 4 years that won't be paid off for a long time unless you're that one kid from every one of these schools that goes pro in a sport right away. Otherwise, you learn nothing but how to be a snowflake and protest all dissenting thought.

I still feel like too much of a baby to tradition to really contribute, but this one of Clotilde's gave me a chuckle:
"You don't have to get rid of your TV, only use OLV homeschool materials, or buy an entire new wardrobe."
