Yeah Im supporting him...you can tell a lot by a man's enemies...besides he's the only one capable of stopping the coronation of the whore of Arkansas. Then again he hasn't picked a vp. That could dampen my support.

Yep, I'd love to see him win. Shake the heck out of the system. Whether he is a great president or brings it all down around our ears hardly matters. It seems 99.9% certain that the status quo won't, simply cannot, be maintained.

I am supporting him but do wish we had someone better. But I guess that is the way it always is. TBH...I would vote for a chimpanzee if it was running against Hilary or Bernie.

besides hes the only one capable of stopping the coronation of the whore of arkansas. Epic title. Whore of Arkansas. Love that one. It seems 99.9% certain that the status quo won't, simply cannot, be maintained. Awesome. Brings me happiness to know this fact and read it from someone else's keyboard. Trump World is going to be crazy, and I can't wait to see all of the weak people shaken out of the trees.

Are we, as soldiers for the unborn and anti anti-matter, i.e. homosexuality, birth control, etc. folks, in good conscience able to vote for Trump? I enjoy popping off his name at work for shock value, but something inside me says it is still wrong to vote for him.

I enjoy popping off his name at work for shock value, but something inside me says it is still wrong to vote for him. It boils down to this for me: the Presidency is fairly weak, as far as actually power to change laws. Saving babies/fighting immoral laws will have to be done through the court system. Let's say abortion becomes illegal. The other problem now is that contraception is so ingrained into society, that the only way to come back from it would be a chastisement. I feel as though there is nothing that can be done through voting for the president which would change these issues other than the appointment of Supreme Court justices. I'd rather have Trump make that pick than Hillary. Trump doesn't have an overt agenda, or at least his backers just want to be rich, he sees his goals in quantifiable term$. Hillary sees her goals in terms of an overhaul on society, changing morals, etc. She also hates the family and doesn't want to see women happily married. She doesn't want a society where women are free to be wives and mothers. So personally for me, I need to vote against her for myself and my daughters.

What you say about Hillary is mostly true for any mainstream, beltway, "corporate" candidate. I trust Lance Armstrong over Cruz. Precedent has a way of being ignored: supposed "pro life" and "conservative" presidents have a way of slipping in non life candidates or not fighting valiantly enough for those who are and could be very well qualified. Just don't see it happening with Trump. Nor do I see him taking up the fight against militant homosexuality. He is also an Israeli firster.

We are not in a winnable position in this world at present. Trump is by far not the ideal candidate for a Catholic to vote for, but he is clearly better than Hillary Clinton on many issues.
The moralists specifically teach that it is licit to vote for a lessor evil to block a greater evil when both hold evil principles but to different degrees. Trump is not going to be a great defender of the unborn, but he is pro-life while holding to the "exceptions." Hillary on the other hand is fiercely an advocate of babies being slaughtered, and will use her office with vigor to continue this evil policy. Both positions are evil, but one is clearly greater than the other.
We could also look at many other issues to demonstrate that Trump is either holding a good position or a less evil position than Clinton.

Pacelli articulates my position and what I judge my responsibility to be as a Catholic.
