I would urge readers to take note of the following point in the article above:
The author corrects a mistake that he states occurs often, namely the incorrect belief that apostolic succession is merely the succession of orders coming from the Apostles. The author explains the necessity of a mission, or jurisdiction, in order for there to be apostolic succession. Orders alone does not mean apostolic succession.
