You should have Pacelli review this for submission to the Resources sub forum. Pacelli The text lacks a clear source. Magdalena, what book did this website take this from, and where can the original, the French text be found, or at least who translated it into English?

Apparently, SolangenHertz mentioned him in the above article. I can't find a footnote, but she was not the type to use false sources.

I just want verification of this source before allowing it to be posted here. If it is a legitimate source, it should not be hard to do.

I don't know where calefactory.org got the article from. I'm fine with deleting the post if necessary. The only thing I could find was that it was taken from the writing of Father Demaris, Professor of Theology, Missionary of St. Joseph, at Lyon in 1801, translated from the French by A. Drover.
"The missionary priest Fr. Demaris wrote to his people on this subject during the period in France following the French Revolution when true priests were exiled from this country, and only the unlawful and excommunicated priests installed by the French government were available for the sacraments. Rather than disobey the laws of the Church by resorting to these hirelings in their final moments on this earth, Fr. Demaris told his flock, Being deprived of extreme unction, and in the hands of persons, who not only do not help, but insult me, I shall be much happier that my death shall have more conformity with that of Jesus who was a spectacle of opprobrium to all the world...be pierced with this truth: that the most glorious and salutary time to die is when virtue is strongest in our heart. ("They Have Taken Away My Lord," Father Demaris, Professor of Theology, Missionary of St. Joseph, wrote the following at Lyon in 1801, translated from the French by A. Drover)".

Eureka, Found it!
Note: Catholics Without a Priest was taken from "They Have Taken Away My Lord" by Father Demaris, 1801, Lyon, France

There is a legend that says the Dauphin escaped and survived the temple prison, apparently he was replaced by another child.
Some Catholic prophecies claim the Great Monarch will be a descendant of King Louis XVI.

You are perhaps referring to some of the prophecies collected in this book by Yves Dupont.

I have been let down too much over the years by substandard scholarship, think: Michael Davies, Tradition in Action, SSPX, the Remnant, some sedevacantists, and so many others. Everything needs to be fact checked these days.

I agree...but unless its in the Resources page...most threads should be treated as a discussion...unless of course its a debate where assertions are made. People need to be free to discuss with out being fact checked constantly. It turns into something akin to discussing star trek at a trekkie convention...only geeks enjoy it....anyway back to the thread.

Yeah that plus some say that Trial, Tribulation and Triumph by Desmond A. Birch is an even better source of compiled Catholic prophecies. www.amazon.ca/Trial-Tribulation-Triumph-Before-Antichrist/dp/1882972732Some say that he is living in Canada right now. A few years ago I came across this Irish prophecy on a youtube video. It didn't say who the sources were, and the video is no longer online. But I did manage to write down some of the quotes from the video because I thought it was interesting. "Legion and progeny of the King that XVI is his number come to hunt the tyrants." "Ireland, recall from exile your forgotten sons." "warriors she call on you to fight", she meaning Mary. "her lieutenant is Ard ri Erenn monarch of Tara" "He is not Irish but his heart was" "He is from lilies of France and knows how to carry the cross" "to crush the tyrant you will only rely on the Gedeon forces" in reference to the Book of Judges chapters 6 to 8. "from the Galleon of New France, Gedeon move slowly" There used to be a short Canadian history clip played quite often here that showed that many Quebec families adopted Irish orphans that their parents died on the coffin ships after the potato famine. If I can remember correctly it said that about a quarter of the population of Quebec now has Irish roots, but I'm thinking it may have said more. An Irish only Legion led by the progeny of Louis XVI under Mary's banner to go hunt the tyrants. Amazing.

At Rianjo, Spain in August 1931, Our Lord communicated to Sister Lucy His dissatisfaction with the Popes and the Catholic bishops failure to obey His command to consecrate Russia. He said:
Make it known to My ministers, given that they follow the example of the King of France in delaying the execution of My requests, they will follow him into misfortune. It is never too late to have recourse to Jesus and Mary.
In another text Lucy wrote that Our Lord complained to her:
They did not wish to heed My request! Like the King of France they will repent of it, and they will do it, but it will be late. Russia will have already spread its errors in the world, provoking wars and persecutions against the Church. The Holy Father will have much to suffer.
The reference by Jesus to the King of Frances disobedience and punishment is as follows:
On June 17, 1689 the Sacred Heart of Jesus manifested to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque His command to the King of France that the King was to consecrate France to the Sacred Heart. For 100 years to the day the Kings of France delayed, and did not obey.
So on June 17, 1789 the King of France was stripped of his legislative authority by the upstart Third Estate, and four years later the soldiers of the French Revolution executed the King of France as if he were a criminal.
In 1793 France sent its King, Louis XVI, to the guillotine. He and his predecessors had failed to obey Our Lords request that France be consecrated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and thus misfortune had befallen both the King and his country.

Reading the above letter, I wonder why was this request ignored by popes, and kings, it doesn't seem to be unreasonable of a request or anything that might be considered difficult to have done?
Why do you suppose it was ignored?
