Planned Barrenhood (w)itches run screaming for the exits pulling their hair out.

Talk about selflessness! Wow. God bless them.

Oh my! That's pretty incredible. I do wonder why they were expected to die? Abortion? Gross neglect once they were born? A mixture, I would imagine. Mentally handicapped people are so often treated very poorly.

Wow, how wonderful. I hope if they were not Catholic, maybe Our Lady obtained for them the grace of true conversion before death.

If they were part of a Protestant sect, I hope the sect had a valid baptism.

Mentally handicapped people are so often treated very poorly. As a homecare nurse for medically fragile children (tracheostomies, ventilators , gastric and nasongastric tubes)---there are so many different diseases and syndromes out there. There's also extreme prematurity and sometimes abuse. At one point in time I worked in a group home for such children---2 removed from their parents' homes for shaken baby syndrome (left her severely mentally retarded with cerebral palsy) and one was left in a bathtub while mom was high on drugs. I have baptized a lot of them.

You just get used to it. Most of the kids have been that way from birth and don't know any different. It's actually easier with the severely mentally disabled ones because they are clueless as to what they're missing out on in life.
