There are many wholesome, classic movies we can watch with the family: Bells of St. Mary's, Gone with the Wind, etc.
What I would like to do is focus on some outliers emanating from the otherwise Hollywood cesspool. That is, movies, that, for the most part, have a great story, are entertaining, and can be viewed with a sense of virtue. My first discussion point would be the movie Creed.
I am a huge Rocky fan. Always have been. I count Rocky I and IV as some of my all time favs. Sylverster Stallone, even nearing 70, is indefatigable. He was not responsible for most of the screen play and production, but starred in a movie that Catholics can look to as an example of humility and even pro life. Yes, there are about 5 minutes of unnecessary passion. This would give caution to dads wanting to watch with younger teens.
I would recommend this movie for men and boys. Maybe not girls as shirtless young men could be an occasion of sin.

I recommend a Spanish movie. A Forbidden God. Buy it on Amazon. It's a 2013 budget production movie, but a Catholic one. The Bluray took 2 weeks to arrive. But the bluray video quality is worth it. (Vimeo has the movie for rent, but the streaming quality is not even dvd quality). The movie portrays what happened in a town in Spain in 1936. It's the story of the Claretian priests and seminarians who could not leave the communist-controlled town. The town is called Barbastro. Yes, the martyrs of Barbastro.
