My husband and I celebrated 15 happy years of marriage this week. I have a very elegant menu planned for this weekend.
On our actual anniversary we had leftovers, which turned out to be perfect cause we were tired from all of the other stuff we did this week. To make it a little more boring, (just kidding) I went out to a dairy and purchased composted manure and potting soil for my gardens.
We are very very happy for God's blessings these many years and for the wonderful, dear children He has entrusted to us.

Five that made it, five (that we know of) in a state of natural happiness.

God surely knows best, even if we will not fully understand this until the next life... Keep fighting the good fight, dear lady, and may God bless your efforts!

We just celebrated 11 years by going out to eat at a new Hibachi restaurant. We had never been to one before. It was fun and the food was excellent. A funny part of the night was the make-up of the other people around the grill. The people to the side of us were a female pair of unnatural vice and one of the women's mother. My husband picked up on this right away but I was too dumb. When we prayed before we ate I saw one woman turn bright red. The couple across from us were also out celebrating their anniversary. He was a career military man and they home school. I asked if they choose to home school or if they do because of frequent moving. They started in about the state of public education and then they found out we home school and they opened up more. Well turns out one of the women in the pair is a public school teacher. She admitted that the schools are getting worse and that started a little discussion. Everyone remained polite to everyone for the remainder of the meal, but the women didn't stay a second longer than they needed. I think for once they were uncomfortable.
