At some point between the beginning of November and mid-January, I was researching a topic. I did a search and a book came up from "Internet Archive" which is archive.org. It had a title which I would have never guessed would have been relevant to what I was looking for, but inside was a wealth of information such as how Catholics exchange greetings, Czech and Slavic Catholic feasts and customs, as well as many other Catholic customs.
The title may have had something to do with history of liturgy or breviary, but I can't remember. What I do know is that if I have not done a search I would have never looked for this book.
Now as to what I was searching for, I think it was about either the history of Advent, or the history of fasting in Advent. It could have also been something related to Eastern Catholicism or family religious customs.
It was also an older book, probably published before 1960, and I want to say maybe before 1940. I just remember the type face was older.
If anyone has the foggiest of ideas as to this book, please let me know.

Hi Clotilde, Another book by the same author (which cannot be found on archive.org any longer - "due to issues with item's contents") can be found in my dropbox account: Link: www.dropbox.com/s/o3zestlbygve5df/EasternRitesCatholicChurch.pdf?dl=0It is quite a beautiful book. Check out page 34 which discusses the mystical meaning of the Divine Liturgy (based on Commentary by St. Germanus of Constantinople ). It is similar to the description of the Holy Mass by St. Francis de Sales or St. Leonard of Port Maurice i.e. the different sections corresponding to the Passion of Our Lord. I hope this helps either way, and please inform me if you were able to download from my dropbox, its a bit buggy sometimes. sincerely Wenceslav

Would you believe that I had searched this?! I think I remember that the bulk of the book was about something in the Roman rite or earlier history of the Church.

Well, if anything, this search has put me on to good books, I've probably skimmed and read enough sections now, to have read a few.
