I set up the poll according to the general rites of each. If anyone wants to add what specific eastern rite they have gone to, please mention it in the discussion section.

I like the Ukranian rite the best out of what I have experienced. The Eastern rites have been a blessing for those living in spiritual desert with no sacraments. They take a little adjustment but if you are not expecting the Latin rite, it isn't so hard.

The Ukrainian rite is only slightly different than the Ruthenian Byzantine...but the difference is significant. The Byz rite has some feminist AND orthoduck influences that forced me into the Ukrainians DL

The Byz rite has some feminist AND orthoduck influences that forced me into the Ukrainians DL I'm happy you brought that up, Catholics need to know all of the safe options for getting the sacraments. I am in full agreement with you and Clotilde in saying that the Byzantine-Ukrainian is good, at least as far as I know from personal experience and the testimony of others that have said this as well.

The Byz rite has some feminist AND orthoduck influences that forced me into the Ukrainians DL For now, we just do what we can. Someday harder choices may come for all of us. At least the feminist stuff, while desirable to avoid, doesn't invalidate. The Roman rite is a mess with the wording in the essential forms, so that even if there was a certainly valid priest, it is just a wreck, speaking of the Paul VI rite.

I went to the Ukrainian Rite a couple of times, about 15 years ago. I liked it.
