Heres my interview with Father Paul Kramer...who can be described as a Ben-vacanist...who said to me after recording stopped that if Ben16 passes away a state of sedevacante would exist. In this video he also points out that there is no official Church teaching about the length of interregnums

bump..no commentary? ?? I’ve only watched part so far. I really like Father Kramer as it is, even though he doesn’t agree with us on everything, I think that he has a lot of important and interesting things to say.

Haven't had a chance to watch this yet... Sorry, Voxx! It is on my list of things to do. I am interested to see what he says. Just haven't had a lot of time after the boys go to bed because the sun stays up so long in the summer. Hopefully I will get to it one of these days though 😅

I think I'd need a bio on Fr Kramer in order to pique my interest first before considering whether to listen to him.

I think I'd need a bio on Fr Kramer in order to pique my interest first before considering whether to listen to him. Hi Resolution, Here is my opinion of him, and I know him personally. His mastery of theology is in my opinion generally top notch. His application of the relevant theology to the facts is lacking in some areas. This is why, in my opinion, he fails to grasp that not only Francis but those before him, going back to Paul VI were not Catholics and were not popes. I believe he errs on this matter, but what he is erring on is not a criticism of his theological understanding, only his application to the facts. I also believe he has not carefully thought through the other road that leads to sedevacantism, which differs from public heresy, and focuses on the fact that the Vatican II popes have done things that they could not do as popes, as the indefectibility of the Church would not allow such things. His rebuttal of the heresy of Sisco and Salza on the defense of the Catholic teaching that heretical office holders lose their offices immediately and without declaration is excellent. I also believe he has done a good job demonstrating that this opinion of Sisco and Salza goes beyond theological error and is actually a heresy against the Faith. So, my advice is this: when or if you listen to him, keep these distinctions in your mind, hone in on his theology, not necessarily his conclusions when he applies the facts to the theology, and you can learn a great deal from him. Fr. Kramer studied at the Angelicum in Rome in the early 1970’s, and that date may scare someone as the modernists were taking control by then, but he was able to secure his classes with the remaining professors at this, the greatest seminary in the Church, who still believed the Faith and were not yet “retired” from their positions. As far as his ordination, which is a complaint against him, that is a separate matter from his training and his orthodoxy, which I believe to be solid.
