Does anyone have citations of guidelines for Catholics and voting? Couldn't find any online, have had mixed responses about being able to vote for pro-abortion politicians or other notorious dissenters from Catholic teaching.

Practicing Catholics are only to vote Republican and not Democrat since the Republican Party platform is against abortion, homosexuality, homosexual marriage, artificial birth control and every other perversion whereas the Democratic Party platform supports abortion, homosexuality, homosexual marriage, artificial birth control and every other perversion. The Republican Party is the party of Jesus and the Democratic Party is the party of Satan.

If the Democratic Party platform supports everything that Jesus is against and the Republican Party platform supports everything that Jesus supports then practicing pro life Catholics should only vote Republican. I was a registered pro life Catholic Democrat for several years but I voted straight Republican. I finally decided in 2008 to become a registered pro life Catholic Republican since I was never voting for any Democrat politicians to begin with.

The Republican Party is demonic. 1. So you would vote for more American imperialism in the Middle East and more war, letting a higher percentage of your tax dollars go towards more civilian deaths in the Middle East, regional instability, the overthrowing of just leaders, the rise of Islamic terrorism and the collapse of the faith of the Apostles in the Levant? Had they not emigrated to the West about a generation ago, several branches of Levantine Catholicism would be extinct or nearing extinction. This is because of the persecution of Christians in the area exacerbated by the American overthrowing of leaders there.
1.5: We had no reason to go into Iraq, Afghanistan or Syria - and the 'war' could've ended in 2003 by not declaring war on an innocent country over hearsay.
2. The consistent, irritating and demonic kowtowing to the Zionist regime. Yes, Israel is a democratically elected state. But the idiot Protestant Evangelicals who treat Christian Zionism as if it were a dogma are betraying Christ before following Him even for an hour. How can you claim Christ as Lord but give no mind to the people there who've been on that land since His earthly time, instead following the almighty demonic dollar and the Israeli genocide that follows it?
3. No one should be treating the demons in Washington as people who might help. They are all corrupted by money and power. If NARAL gave them $2 million for 2018, they would take it in a heartbeat and change their position.
4. It's time to vote independent. The two-party paradigm has to end.

There are many very bad Republicans who are equally as evil as Democrats. Even the "good" Republicans in amost every case is not what is ideal according to Catholic standards. Most if not almost all believe that abortion is permitted in some cases. Many have weakened on demanding the law reflects Divine and Natural law in upholding that marriage is only between a man and woman. All or at least almost all appear to have no problem with contraception and pornography and all sorts of other blatant evil being legally protected by a perverse interpretation of free speech. I could go on and on. What I would say is this, it is lawful to vote for a lessor evil to block a greater evil, and in my opinion, in most cases, it's a no brainer. Would Catholics and the rights of the Church, be better off under Hillary than Trump? I think that answer is clear. There are other cases, though, where the differences between the candidates don't amount to much, and in those cases, I vote third party.
