This is well worth watching.   Day 5, opening arguments is only about two hours, but it is well organized and packed with very powerful factual evidence not only exonerating the President of the allegations against him by the house managers but it also clearly shows that the house managers themselves were clearly guilty of hiding the facts with show the president’s innocence of the charges, and by that deceiving the Senate and the American public.

The fact that a defense has to be made at all shows how utterly out of control our govt is. There is no normal person that can't see this was a hatchet job...all about the spurning of the anointed white witch from arkansas.

I agree.  The President’s lawyers completely destroyed these weak and stupid charges.   If we lived in normal times, they would be discredited for their false allegations, based on a twisted understanding of the Constitution, in front of the entire country, but in this time of a  dumbed down citizenry, it’s sad that many think the Democrats had a good case.
