I sing (a voice major as of last November) and I've been singing for a very long time. A recording, I guess? I also play piano abhorrently. orthopapist , most classical music is actually very Catholic, believe it or not. Classical just refers to the period between 1750-1820 where Mozart, Beethoven, etc. lived and worked. It's probably during this time that the most religious music was composed. Even before him, there's a LOT of Catholic music from JS Bach, Händel, etc. Congratulations on your major! Are you a tenor or bass? So, is Daniel Brinesmead your name or the composer's name? My family and relatives wanted me to become a professional singer since I was little... I never went through with it though because of all the danger and immorality that generally comes with the job for young women now-a-days... Instead, I direct our chapel's traditional choir! So, I guess some good came of the gifts God has given me. could be that the industry is that way because there are not enough good people in it

Way to many pornographic Jews the idea of "pornographic jews" is kind of hilarious to me clearly you did not grow up under the oppressive orthodox jewish scrupulosity we were not even allowed to hold hands with members of the opposite sex, or play simple childhood games like tag with a mixed group of children. i specifically had religious exemption from co-ed sports when i was in school because i might accidentally touch a girl. i was not allowed to go to any school dances (I did rebel and took my wife to the senior prom). my sisters were not allowed to wear short sleeved t shirts. can't have people seeing your elbows!!! or knees, or collarbones. you know you are in the jewish section of town when it's 95 degrees out, humid, and everyone has long sleeves

Yeah, the commercial music industry is largely degenerate... also pornographic... also talentless... Why people pay money to see half-dressed stars lip-sync to thumping drum and bass is beyond me.
If you want to see actual music, go to a concert with actual musicians - a jazz club, a professional choir singing Rachmaninoff's All-Night Vigil, whatever.

It just seemed too morally dangerous... Maybe if I was a stronger person I could have done it and made a difference...

I worked on Ave Maria (Franz Schubert) today and wanted to post the best recording I could get before the day was over. I don't practice much fingerpicking, so it leaves much to be desired. But in honor of our Blessed Mother's Immaculate Conception, here's the best I could do: Ave Maria - Acoustic Guitar
