Can devils see our thoughts? I think the answer is "No," but I'm not sure. If we were spitting mad about something but didn't show any evidence of it externally, then could a devil know?
Can angels see our thoughts? If our mind wanders through half the Rosary does our guardian angel know this? Thanks.

Demons can't see our thoughts, but they are very smart, and often do not need to see our thoughts to know what is going on. Our tiniest mannerisms can be observed. Their observation skills are excellent. I remember this from a sermon given by a priest. Knowing that angels and demons started off the same, all as angels, I would assume angels can't see our thoughts either... but now that you ask the question I have a question of my own- I wonder if God would give them the capability to do so?

Angels can inspire our thoughts.

Only God is omniscient, so I would say no, neither Devils nor Angels can; unless God reveals our thoughts to them for some reason. I also second what Voxx said, and would add that Devils can "inspire" our thoughts, as well....just to do evil, not good.
ETA: And, I agree with Jen that Devils (and Angels) are smart enough to figure out what we might be thinking with pretty good accuracy, based on our mannerisms, body language, facial expressions, experience for so long with humans, etc....so, if we are mad or distracted, they can probably tell. Heck, my husband can tell when I'm mad or distracted, even if I give no visible, outward indications (i.e. I'm trying very hard to not act on those inclinations, and offer it up).

I think that devils cannot necessarily read our thoughts, but they certainly can read our body language and make very good calculated guesses about us. Imagine the top physicist in the world times a hundred and you might have an idea of how the devil can pick up on the slightest little thing we do... And what is more, they have had thousands of years to watch humans and learn what different tiny little expressions mean. (Devils can read our thoughts if we are thinking of them though...ie communicating with them.) As for angels... I do believe that angels are primarily the same, and generally act through acute perception of our physical reactions. Though I believe that God can grant them the gift to help us if He knows that in our mind that we are struggling...especially if we pray to Him for help. Not being a great theologian, don't take all of this as an absolute. It is just what I have sort of pieced together from different stories and books I have read.

So they can read body language very well but if my mind is wandering during the dishes over a dozen things but I don't say anything about any of them a devil wouldn't actually know what my mind is wandering about! I hope this is the case.

I hope this is the case. The devils are not mindreaders, but they see people as predictable. A person living a Godless, pagan lifestyle is easily provoked into sin as a reaction to even the smallest slight. A Catholic could ask for the grace to remain composed in the face of trials, and to retain the deportment of a child of God. A devil observing you cannot see an angry reaction to manipulate, and is therefore confounded. Your mind can wander but can't be caught in a devil's snare because your thoughts are private.

We are above the angels....the good ones are amazed and happy about this...the evil ones jealous and vindictive.

Actually, this is pretty accurate, as our trad priest recently discussed this -- the business about the devils and body language, which I think another poster mentioned, too. This is why the entire issue of temptation is so important -- staying away from the near occasion of sin, because as we "signal" our inclination or attraction to a particular realm or behavior, we make ourselves that much more vulnerable to being led further into that by evil spirits.

Absolutely!!! Near occasions of sin can so much more easily give the devil an idea of where we are weak...
