I love the idea of the Prayer request threads...to me it is one of the very few truly valuable and effectatious things a Catholic forum can do on the web. Sure we can teach and comfort...but the power of prayer is a real force for Good and doing Gods will without fear of even accidentally offending our God. That being said...sometimes it seems kind of less than impressive to simply "like" a request or "praying" etc (not trying to put it down of course) I want to offer a practical suggestion. I set up the news feed to recite prayers continuously. So for instance you see a prayer request...if you think theres a chance you wont be able to get to a prayer request later...or if your like your dim witted admin here and theres a chance youll forget to pray later...simply go to our main page look at the top and pray along with the Loop...as many times as you want. I am actually very pleased with the idea and give all credit to my Guardian angel for inspiring the idea.

That's great! I include prayer requests online as part of my rosary intention, including those I might not have read yet, as well.

That's great! I include prayer requests online as part of my rosary intention, including those I might not have read yet, as well. I do the same, Clotilde. I don't always have the time to respond to every prayer request, but I do read them. And, when I pray my Rosary each evening, I pray for the intentions of everyone on the forum. So, even if I don't acknowledge on here that I prayed for a prayer request, please know that I do include the intentions here in my daily prayers most days (assuming my memory doesn't fail me) I like the recitation of prayer in the news feed, too. It's a good and helpful reminder.
