I dont have chapels I go to actual parish churches...yes they changed the philoque. But that was an ancient usage. It has a traditional reason. The marionites are full on NO very bizarre.

I was just going to say that. They never said the Filoque even when the schism ended, and were accepted back into the Church without its addition.

I'm making vegetable stock in my IP for the first time. I used to sautée function to sautee a sliced leek, four roughly chopped carrots, three cloves of unpeeled garlic, a large chopped onion, some mushroom stems, and pepper in olive oil. I added two cans of diced tomatoes and a small quartered potato with skin. I set it for 30minutes manual, high pressure, and will do a quick release after 2 minutes. I will strain, season, and cook the other vegetables that I have prepped for the soup.

Everyone in my house is exempt from fasting so I think it's just the Mrs who will abstain I have no food to tfast from but on the flip side, no feasting for Easter
Not sure what we'll do in the way of penance. Feels s like every day is lent. But there is that nagging worry that I'm not doing enough. We are called to find ways to challenge ourselves but this year I am having difficulty

What is an IP? The veggie stock sounds amazing! Let us know how it goes! :-) Oh, and an amazing addition to veggie soups is celery seed if you are looking for a little extra flavor!
