OUR PURPOSE
The Trad Cath forum is designed to allow Traditionalist Catholics a place of discussion free from the distractions and errors of the world. We are committed to defending Catholic doctrine and principles, and are faithful to the 2,000 years of Catholic Magisterium. As such, we recognize the undeniable existence of an unprecedented crisis in the Church, wrought by the Modernist revolution known as the Second Vatican Council.
I. BASIC RULES
1. Members should be courteous to one another.
2. Sacrilegious, Blasphemous, and Obscene material is strictly prohibited.
3. Non-Catholic viewpoints are not permitted here. This includes both Non-Catholic religions, and views which have deemed by the Church to be heretical. Violation of this rule will result in a permanent ban without warning.
4. The promotion of ideologies that conflict with and/or contradict Catholic teaching is forbidden. These include, but are not limited to, Communism, Socialism, Nazism, Anarchism, Feminism, and egalitarianism.
5. Do not troll the forum, and do not derail threads.
6. Please avoid using profanity.
7. Members may promote their personal blogs, to a reasonable extent, so long as the material is in alignment with Catholic teaching.
II. SEDEPLENISM, SEDEVACANTISM, AND OTHER VIEWS
1. This forum recognizes that there are different responses to the current ecclesiastical crisis, and thus we tolerate all Traditionalists.
2. It is permitted to say that a different position is dangerous to the faith or even materially heretical, but it is not permitted to state or insinuate that those who hold a different position than oneself are outside the Church; therefore, for example, making a statement such as "sedevacantists are schismatic because they do not believe Bergoglio is the pope" is forbidden.
III. THE FORUM STAFF
1. The Administrator and Moderators are to be respected. Directives and decisions by the staff must be heeded, and may not be questioned publicly.
IV. SUGGESTIONS AND CONCERNS
1. If a member has an idea of how to improve the forum, (i.e. by suggesting the addition of a new subforum, etc.), this is best conveyed by using Private Message.
2. Concerns or questions about moderator action, or about the rules, are to be addressed only via Private Message to the Administrator or Moderators.
V. COMMON SENSE
1. I trust that all the members here have a basic degree of common sense. It is therefore expected that members will conduct themselves like adults, and will not require moderator instruction on how to behave.
VI. If any member is proven to be bad mouthing...calumniating...lie-ing or attempting to otherwise attack this forum in general at any other forum...you could get banned.
VII. Admin reserves the right to ban any member at anytime for any reason without explanation.
VIII. No puritanism or judging others sins or offences.
IX. NO ONE MAY BE A MEMBER WHO IS UNDER 18 yrs of age
X. No content from the Dimond Bros or Holy family monastery may be directly linked. Your free to mention or suggest content...but this Admin considers them dangerous frauds.
