What exactly are the limits of Papal infallibility?
I was talking to SSPX priests about this and they said that we must stick to Pastor Aeternus with regards to the limits of infallibility and not theologians and other texts because they express different opinions . Therefore infallibility is invoked only rarely .
So if Pastor Aeternus is considered, it only speaks about infallibility in Ex Cathedra statements / solemn pronouncements.
And when I read Cardinal Manning and others, he extends infallibility to things not mentioned in Pastor Aeternus.
So which one should I believe ? Only the Dogmatic text of Pastor Aeternus? And if so what are the real limits of infallibility.
Since I believe I have a religious vocation , I'm struggling with all these questions . I do not know where to go. SSPX ? CMRI ?
My scrupulous conscience keeps troubling me. My mind keeps saying me that I might be wrong . I accepted the sedevacantist opinion recently and I've been struggling with all this for a while.

holding a personal opinion should not trouble you as long as your open to being corrected on the opinion you hold. Ive said this many times " Id be glad to reject my sedevacantist position if a better more plausable one is offered.
