I urge you to not learn your Faith from the Dimonds. Do not trust them. I also urge you to keep going to the SSPX for the mass and the sacraments. Do not give up the life giving grace of the sacraments so easily because some men in NY are telling you things like this! I will have to remove the video as we do not allow Dimond heresies on this forum. Regarding EENS, I urge you to read the statement of the Holy Office in 1949 approved by Pope Pius XII on what you must believe on this matter: tradcath.proboards.com/thread/828/1949-office-letter-suprema-sacra

The absence of a first post in this thread is a good reminder on the need for the first responder to always quote the thread author so that the entire thread still makes sense if the first post gets deleted.

I deleted my post because I felt it in my gut something was wrong. I wish I never came across my video. I even skipped Sunday mass because I thought I was committing a mortal sin by going to it. To be honest I can be quite naive, which is a life long habit I will let go of with prayer. I am going to pray for discernment and go to mass when Father comes to town next and go to confession for believing such heresy and committing a mortal sin by skipping mass. I had another question regarding sspx. Is sspx Sedevacantist or should I avoid talking about Sedevacantism at this church?

I had another question regarding sspx. Is sspx Sedevacantist or should I avoid talking about Sedevacantism at this church? It's ok, the Dimomds are a mess, and I urge anyone to not listen to them. There is a member of this forum that believed their teachings, joined them, thinking they were real Benedictines, and agreed to take his money, as he was wealthy and inherited much from his deceased relative. They took his money even though Canon Law strictly forbids one to give their money until the final profession. Beyond their doctrinal problems, this should stand as a warning to flee from these guys and have nothing to do with them. I am happy you saw through their sophistry and are now back to mass. Regular mass attendance for you and your family is so crucial on so many levels, that it would take time to explain. In my opinion, don't worry about sedevacantism, just go to mass, make friends, and let your children make friends with other Catholic children, they need that very much. Sedevacantism solves the theoretical problems, but doesn't help much in the day to day living of our Catholic life, so don't worry too much about it, unless you are drawn for deeper answers on how things all fit in this complex mess we are living through. If that is something that you want to deal with down the line, feel free to ask questions and discuss on here.
