I am working on the next post that will focus on the Rite of Hippolytus, which Fr. Pierre Marie uses in his study in the comparison table, column 2, to prove that the Paul VI rite is based on approved Catholic rites. I want to let anyone following this know that this post will take considerably longer for me to finish. This entire rite of Hippolytus matter is a huge can of worms with a very lengthy controversy among scholars that goes back for centuries.
Some claim that the attribution to Hippolytus of these texts was not accurate, and that it was not correct to attribute these to him. Another point is that the texts being used in the Novus Ordo and in the consecration rite of bishops are in reality reconstructions of the text, provided by Dom Botte, who was the architect of the 1968 rite of consecration of bishops, not to any certain rite that existed in the early Church. There are various disputes also about the reconstructions of the rite as well. It is certainly not a settled matter by any standard.
There is just so much information to present on this that I have accumulated over the years, that it's going to take some time for me to get it all down into a logical and systemic order so the reader can make sense of all of it. I have been intending to write a post on this for years, so finally it will be done.
I will not be posting much until this is finished.

I am very excited to read your analysis Pacelli and hope that it can be translated into Latin as it would be beneficial for all Priests to read no matter where they are. I think the use of vernacular languages limits the audience for such important publications that have worldwide significance.
I will pray for it 🙏

I'm several days into working on a very long post on this matter, and I've decided to scrap what I was doing in favor of doing shorter posts. There is so much information on all of this, and it is a very controverted matter, along with being very complex, so a long post, in my opinion, is going to be information overload for most readers.
I will instead put up specific posts dealing with specific issues of these alleged writings of Hippolytus and why I do not believe they should have ever been used in the liturgy of the "Church," as found in the eucharistic prayer #2, and the rite of consecration of bishops.
