I have some friends traveling to Saint Louis, Missouri this weekend. Does anyone know of a good chapel to attend Mass there besides the SSPX?

I am not aware of any, but so long as the SSPX priest there is ordained by the SSPX bishops and is not a conciliar ordained priest, I would recommend your friend to go there. The problem I keep hearing about though is that it is getting harder to make certain of this fact when traveling.

It seems as if more and more novus ordo priests keep "joining the ranks" without being conditionally ordained. 😩 I do believe they managed for their trip this time though. Thank you! ☺️

Thank you! ☺️ This problem with SSPX used to be a rare issue, but it is now fairly common to hear about it. Unfortunately, it is making the SSPX an untrustworthy place to go to mass. It is for this reason, among others, that I asked Vox to set to the new resources sub-forum dedicated to the defectiveness of the new 1968 ordination/Consecration rites. I'm not sure it will change the thinking of the SSPX leadership, but all we can do is try and leave the rest to God. The SSPX relies on the 2005 study of Fr. Pierre Marie that appears on the surface to give an airtight defense of the 1968 rite of consecration of bishops. The problem with their view is that the study falls apart under scrutiny. If only they would look at the evidence showing that the eastern rites contrary to the 2005 study do not support the validity of Paul VI's novel rite, they would see that these men who join them or work with them with these defective orders would absolutely need conditional ordination prior to functioning as a priest within the Society.

SO true... And what a good idea for the resource page! It was actually the study of the novus ordo ordinations that was the final straw for my conversion to tradition many years ago. The sad thing is that there are many traditional Catholics who aren't familiar with the topic and so have no qualm about going to novus ordo priests who offer the Latin Mass... God save us and help us get through these times! Thank you for all of the valuable information you have shared on the forum through the years! ☺️

Let's hope some researcher who cares about the truth stumbles across it here. Fwiw, there also is a magnificent resource for French speakers that is just amazing on this topic. The website is the best collection of documents on this matter in the world, but unfortunately is in French, and much of it is untranslated. www.rore-sanctifica.org/index1.html

Just a question: Would a chart with SSPX priests and their ordination be helpful? I think we could create a graphic or something. That would be a handy reference.
