I have zero issue attending SSPX masses and would sometimes choose them over groups that have the same theological position as myself.
That said, I have been running into lots of problems in my own life with the ordinations (and by default episcopal consecrations), as well as issues with laity.
I will admit that I’ve been out of the loop with the SSPX for a number of years but it seems to me like both the priests and the laity have totally changed their views with regard to Novus Ordo holy orders. In fact, I’d say that the lines are almost blurred and now many people attend SSPX yet retain ties with the FSSP or other groups. I guess what I am saying is that the current climate is different from what I remember 10-20 years ago. This was a big topic when I came into tradition and I hear nothing about it from SSPXers anymore.
If you go to SSPX, do you have a divide on this issue at your chapel on this issue? Have you noticed a shift? Does anyone happen to have any older literature or pamphlets from the SSPX that would indicate a shift from the position on their website. Any other insight?

Clotilde, I think the problem has been getting worse as more priests that are directly affiliated with the sect wake up and try to get away from it by joining SSPX. This would normally be a time to rejoice that men of good will, such as these, are getting away from Comciliar Church, but unfortunately, for whatever reason, the SSPX has softened on their stance that these men with Paul VI orders need conditional ordination. Archbishop Lefebvre believed these men had doubtful orders. He said "All sacraments from the modernists bishops or priests are doubtful now." tradcath.proboards.com/thread/1175/conciliar-sacraments-doubtful-lefebvre-1987Fr. Cekada also publicly asserted that Archbishop Lefebvre told him that he believed that the new conciliar episcopal consecration rite is invalid. Fr. Cekada said, "Abp. Lefebvre personally told me in the mid-70s that he regarded the 1968 Rite of Episcopal Consecration as invalid because of a change in its essential sacramental form," tradcath.proboards.com/thread/2133/mallerais-defect-1968-episcopal-consecrationAlso, Bp. Tissier also concluded that there is a doubt about the validity of the new consecration rite "I concluded there was a doubt about the validity of episcopal consecration conferred according to the rite of Paul VI. The [phrase] “spiritum principalem” in the form introduced by Paul VI is not sufficiently clear in itself and the accessory rites do not specify its meaning in a Catholic sense." tradcath.proboards.com/thread/2133/mallerais-defect-1968-episcopal-consecrationEither the SSPX has softened on this matter, or maybe they are secretly conditionally ordaining these men in order to not be at odds with the Conciliar authorities If they are secretly conditionally ordaining these men, it doesn't help us, because if we don't know, we must treat them as not conditionally ordained.

It is true that in recent times the SSPX don't seem to think there is an issue with the novus ordo ordinations. It is almost as if they are becoming identical to the FSSP.
I used to have no issue going to SSPX Masses and they had that old full traditional Catholic presence about them. But recently it has been a hit or a miss and I kind of feel like I need to check who is offering the Mass for the sake of surety.
It is so sad... 😣
