For those of us who hold that the office of St. Peter has been vacant since Paul VI, we are constantly looking at the public acts of those with claims to the offices of bishop or Cardinal in the Church, in order to identify the remaining hierarchy and lawful electors of a Pope.
I am not aware of Cardinal Robert Sarah denying any doctrines of the Church, and in recent times, he appears to be taking a strong stand in defense of truths even drawing the ire of Francis towards him. I am also not saying that I am certain about his status as a member of the Church, or as a Cardinal, but I at least think that he is one to watch closely.
I could post countless articles about him and his views on here, but if anyone wants to learn more about him, just do a simple google search. He is directly and explicitly opposed to intercommunion with non Catholics, against all of the modern moral evils, and appears to be a liturgical traditionalist.
I am not sure about his status as a priest, as he was ordained in July, 1969, so it’s possible that he was ordained using the old rite, as this was still in the time of transition, but this would have to be researched.

Ordination 20 July 1969 by Raymond-Maria Tchidimbo ---- Ordination October 7, 1951 Holy Ghost Fathers ---- consecration on May 31, 1962 (does not say by whom) ---- Considering Tchidimbo was arrested in 1971, tortured, and spent eight years in a consecration camp in Guinea, it is unlikely he ever learned the new "catholic" religion. Therefore, he probably ordained Sarah in the old rite.
Consecration 8 December 1979 by Giovanni Benelli ---- Ordination 31 October 1943 by Giuseppe Debernardi ---- Consecration 11 September 1966 by Amleto Giovanni Cicognani ---- Considering he was an italian and spent most of his religious life in italy, it is likely he used the new rite to consecrate others.
Created cardinal 20 November 2010 by Benedict XVI

Created cardinal 20 November 2010 by Benedict XVI I also figured he was consecrated in the new and doubtful rite, but this thread is focused on whether he is a Catholic, that he has not left the Church due to publicly professing heresy against the Faith. Also, I think it highly probable that he was ordained using the old rite, as many third world countries were known to be behind in getting the new books.
