On May 16, Pope Francis remarked that the SSPX "Catholics are on the way to full communion" and a "good dialogue and good work are taking place." According to the Bishop, the Vatican is signaling that it is acceptable for members of SSPX to question some aspects of Church doctrine and remain full Catholics in communion with Rome. Pope Francis held a private audience with Bishop Fellay last month. During the Jubilee Year of Mercy, Pope Francis has also validated confessions within the SSPX. It is possible the reconciliation between the Vatican and SSPX could occur within the next month. "

Let's wait till it happens. The Trad definition of "soon" is anything between now and a bazillion years.

There's no doubt there is talk of it, and I do believe the SSPX wants to join back up, but I don't think it'll be "soon" as in the next couple of years. There's some deal breakers to be worked out yet, as I understand.
