The Sacred and the Profane, Clarence Kelly, 1997: PDF linked HERE
(Disclaimer: While I disagree with Kelly's final conclusion, we owe a great debt of gratitude to him for collecting and publishing so much information and evidence on history of the development of the +Thuc line bishops. Many contemporary Catholics are spoon fed a rosy picture of this history, while Kelly presents the truth of what really happened. I will agree with Kelly in so far as to say that no one must accept the +Thuc lines until they are investigated by the Holy See. But, on the flip side, Kelly and his priests have absolutely no jurisdiction to bind Catholics on this matter, and by doing so engage in a schismatic act, by usurping the powers of the hierarchy. Until a Pope settles this matter, it remains an open and unsettled question, both for and against, and no private individual has the right to authoritatively settle it and bind Catholics to their opinion, even if they might be correct.)
