I will be visiting NO relatives soon and would like to have a short, to the point list of the most bizarre things Frankie has said. I will have to quote them date and time or they won't believe me.
I remember the one about atheists going to heaven but I have to track down the quote.

"Obsessed with abortion" "breeding like rabbits" an encyclical on the Enviornment?! Those are the exact things my NO family believe in! They are all on board with using contraception, abortion is "ok" sometimes (sheesh...) And of course we have global warming and need to save the planet ! ! ! ! It's going to be a tough visit. I keep trying to figure out what they do believe in that is actually Catholic. Divorce/remarriage? No problem. Confession? Group confession once a year is enough. Homosexuals? Awww, have pity of them and make them feel welcomed. Who am I to judge??? If I only had a dollar for every time my mother (85yo) has said that to me I could take a cruise to Norway! They all belong to a social club call the "Catholic" church
