Just want some opinions here. I am not generally given to conspiracies, but I have noticed that the pictures of the young Lucia and the mature nun don’t exactly match up. I don’t want to create a firestorm, but I have read that some believe the real Lucia was supplanted by a fake. What say you all? We are living in such strange times.

I haven't studied the pictures closely, (I know the Fatima Center addressed it at least once in their send outs) but I don't believe it was the same person because of her behavior. She was very solemn and reserved after the apparitions and the vision of hell; then when appearing in public with JPII she was waving her arms all over looking to be the center of attention.

I'm undecided on it. I do wonder if it's not just a distraction (along with some other shenanigans at the Fatima Center) to discredit the Fatima message, which IMO, should be heeded. It's been a sober week at our house as we contemplate Our Lady's warnings in anticipation of the 100th anniversary on Friday.

It is unwise to become distracted by this and lose sight of the message!
