I would agree with what you said about FDR in terms of all the awful things he did. I'm not saying he was a hero in a Catholic sense. But, I am suggesting that perhaps the prophecies were misunderstood. He is great, in the same sense that Alexander was great... which is interesting that they would both have that same word "Great".
I know that prophecies can give an expectation that is misunderstood.. case in point is how everyone missed the real Messiah when He came. I would argue that the Anti-messiah will follow the same pattern.
Anyway, it's just a theory.... and I would totally agree that it's a stretch and very unlikely given all the information out there about the Great Monarch. But, he does walk with a limp, conquer the world and reign alongside with the "Angelic Shepherd". Those are a remarkable set of circumstances that are not likely to be reproduced by accident.
Wait to you hear my theory about the Anti-Christ's mother. Because Our Lady of LaSalette talked about his mother.
I'm off to Mass. Happy Feast Day of the Immaculate Heart everyone! What a wonderful and joyous Feast Day! How Heaven is rejoicing today!
Ave Maria

My point he was NOT great in any sense. Secular History is written by the victors. He greatness if you will existed soley in his fortune..his timing..his selfserving political acumen. Mr Smith of New York was a greater man. FDR didnt save us from ww2 he helped bring it on for his Jewish Rothschild friends. He was the classic snake in the grass and was no more important to Church history than the Beatles. And I mean that...the beatles were "great" too shall we find bible evidence of them as the four horseman?
