Hello! I am the fellow that produced this video, and I thank you very much for posting it and commenting on it. I would love to post a video myself. This one is only 9 minutes, but it shows that it wasn't just Vatican II / Novus Ordo that was prefigured in the Old Testament, but it was actually the entire history of the Catholic Church, from Her beginning all the way until the present day that is prefigured in the Old Testament. And, was is most astonishing, is that it all happens in the same chronological order!
I know this sounds a bit fantastic, but you could just spare 9 minutes, you can see for yourself.
We've been busy pressing into these parallels, to see just how far they reach. To our amazement, the parallels go right down to details. It's Divine Poetry, and it points directly to Traditional Catholicism.
Anyway, here is the 9 minute summary video. Ave Maria!

I like it and its very well done...the graphics go by a little to fast...also a few things seem a bit of a stretch.

Thank you very much! I tried to pack over 1 year of research and videography into a short summary. I knew that if it was too long, people wouldn't watch it...but perhaps I erred on the other side of making it too fast and short. However, I do really appreciate the constructive criticism. As for some of the parallels seeming like a stretch, I can understand why you say that. When I first realized that the whole history of the Catholic Church was prefigured by the whole history of Israel in the Old Testament, I was expecting to find the parallels to exist in obvious ways. However, it turns out that a lot of the time, it's the principle, or general concept that parallels. Other times, the parallels are overwhelmingly obvious. This concept is so big and expansive, that it has been a constant challenge to present the material in a believable and convincing way. I have come to understand that there is no quick way I can present this so that people will automatically see it and believe it. However, if someone looks into the material a bit deeper (by checking out our website and YouTube channel), then I promise that you will be astonished and most likely believe the claim. But, most importantly, the reason why this is so important and also so believable, is that the end of the Old Testament points to Traditional Catholicism, and it lays bear the Second Vatican Council and Novus Ordo. For that reason, I decided to quit my government job and do this full time, in the hopes of bringing more souls out of Novus Ordo and into the Tridentine Mass of the Ages! Ave Maria, and thanks again for your time and comments. How do you check yourself for confirmation bias?

Yes, that is a great question. Confirmation bias is obviously a huge danger for something like this. But, I can answer that fairly easily. Let me explain.
It helps to step back and look at this from a 30,000 ft view first. Let's look at the very basic and general history of Israel in the Old Testament and then the history of the Catholic Church. By this, I mean the very big time periods and major events. I've heard it said many times that history repeats itself, which is true. But, if very specific and peculiar things repeat themselves in the same order, then that means that an intelligence has caused that to happen (or is an incredible coincidence). The Old Testament history of Israel has very specific and peculiar things happen in a certain order, and if the history of the Catholic Church repeats those things in the same order, then that strongly suggests God caused it to happen that way. Here is a demonstration
Old Testament (basic summary of major events) Church History (basic summary of major events) 1. Very severe persecution in Egypt 1. Very severe persecution in Roman Empire (Decius and Diocletion) 2. Period of Judges (defended Israel) 2. Period of Church Fathers (defended the Faith and the Church) 3. Period of Kings 3. Period of Holy Empires a. King Saul, who didn't obey God through Samuel a. First Byzantine Empire, didn't obey God through papacy b. King David, anointed when Saul was still king b. Holy Roman Empire, pope crowned Charlemagne when Byzantine Emperor was already ruling from c. David fought many battles, Saul died Constantinople c. Holy Roman Empire fought Crusades, Constantinople and Byzantine Empire were ended by Ottoman Turks d. Solomon reigned after David. He built Temple, was d. After Crusades came the Renaissance, built St. Peter's rich and wise, but he drifted off into idolatry. Basilica. Much wealth and knowledge, but drifted off into humanism and admiration of man instead of God. 4. After Solomon died, Jeroboam split the 12 Tribes. The 4. After the Renaissance, Martin Luther split Christendom. The northern tribes revolted and apostatized. northern European countries revolted and apostatized. 5. Nebuchadnezzar and Babylonians took the Jews land 5. The Kingdom of Italy took the Papal States and Popes were and made them prisoners in Babylon prisoners in the Vatican. 1870 AD 6. Jews went back to Jerusalem after 70 years, and lived in 6. The Church signed the Lateran Treaty which gave them Jerusalem as a city state. They kingdom was gone. Vatican City, which is a city-state 1929 AD. 7 Their Temple was invaded and taken over. Their religion 7. Modernists and Communists invaded the took over the was changed from the Temple. One old priest rebelled Vatican. Our Mass and religion was changed from the and fled to the hills to preserve the Traditional Jewish Vatican. One bishop rebelled and fled to the Alps religion. (Lefebvre), to preserve the Traditional Catholic Faith and religion.
Now, I would like to point out that those are the major, over arching events in both the Old Testament and Church history. It's not comprehensive, but I am not cherry picking minor events and making them match. These are major events and they occurred in a specific order. I think you would agree that this is not history repeating itself. This is an act of God. So, if the major events parallel, then I just wondered if the minor events also would parallel... and boy..... do they ever!
So, to answer your question about confirmation bias... all I can say is that the major events seem to me to be obviously paralleled. But if others can't see that, there is no way I can prove it to them.
I spent some time in Africa years ago, and they had a proverb. They said "If someone isn't able to see the sky, then don't bother trying to show it to them." I think that applies here.
Ave Maria

So Mr. Maccabeean,
Are you SSPX or SSPX resistance or sede? I think we all revere LeFebvre here though some of us have moved on to the sede position.
I am going to post your vid on the Eponymous Flower Blog. Thank you so much again for your hard work!

I absolutly agree with the basic premise. Have you ever looked at the premise some have that the Life of the Church is following the events of the Life of Our Lord?

Happy Feast of the Assumption everyone!
@ KIM
I have a lot to say in response.... but I am running late for Mass, and have to help my wife get the kids ready. I will most gladly and enthusiastically reply later today!
@voxxkowalski
Thank you very much! To answer your question.. no, I haven't done any work at all regarding how the Life of Our Lord parallels the life of the Church, although I have talked about it much with a good friend. We both wondered if this phenomena was equally convincing when applied to the Life of Our Lord. I would be very, very much interested to hear or read anything on that topic!

So Mr. Maccabeean, Are you SSPX or SSPX resistance or sede? I think we all revere LeFebvre here though some of us have moved on to the sede position. I am going to post your vid on the Eponymous Flower Blog. Thank you so much again for your hard work! Kim🙂 Ave Maria! @ Kim First, let me say that 2 years ago, I was still in Novus Ordo. A couple years before we left Novus Ordo, I was fighting more and more against the abuses of all shapes and kinds. A friend of mine told me about a place called FSSP (Fraternal Society of St. Peter). I never considered Traditional Catholicism before... it was simply off my radar screen. But, we went and a new world opened up before me at FSSP. However, I had many questions that did seem to be getting direct answers. It was at that time that these parallels between the Old Testament and Church history became evident to me. The power of the parallels was so convincing that I slowly started to trust them for sure footing, because if God caused the parallels, then I knew it had to be for a reason. It was at that time that I decided to really study the Books of the Maccabees. I figured that if the entire history of Israel was paralleling the entire history of the Catholic Church in chronological order (and in the most beautiful, astonishing and amazing ways), then how much more so would the end of the Old Testament be important, relevant and perhaps, profoundly useful to us now... who are agonizing through this crisis. Upon reading and studying the Books of the Maccabees, I very quickly saw Vatican II/Novus Ordo and Archbishop Lefebvre. It did not take very long after that to leave FSSP, and to immediately run to the SSPX. (we would have never gone to the SSPX before that, since we knew they were 'excommunicated'). But, now, seeing that God put Archbishop Lefebvre as a hero in the Old Testament (in a typological way), then I was able to quickly see the Archbishop the same way in Church history as well. Now, at this point, it starts to get a bit delicate. My wife and I put our house up for sale in Pennsylvania and decided to move to St. Mary's Kansas. That is a town that is filled with the SSPX, and 3/4's of the town is Traditional Catholic. We put an offer on a house, and were just on the point of buying it.........but we didn't. I was bothered by the picture of Francis (Bergolio) that was hanging in every SSPX chapel, but I was propelled by the Old Testament, and by the thought that we were joining the New Testament Maccabees (those holy Old Testament defenders of the Traditional Jewish Law). BUT I neglected to read and understand the rest of the Books of the Maccabees. I stopped reading after the first 2 chapters, since the rest of the Books of the Maccabees seemed to describe the battles, and less so a story line. I was wrong! In short, in reading the rest of the Books of the Maccebees, and reading and listening to commentary about the Maccabees from Catholic and Jewish sources of all kinds, I came to understand that the Maccabees started to play politics with the evil Greek kings. Below, I'll post some links to resources that describe the actions of the Maccabean Uprising, and how they interacted with the Greek rulers and kings. BUT, there was also another group of Jews who were trying to preserve the Traditional Jewish Law and religion. These Jews are alluded to in the Books of the Maccabees, but we can easily learn about them from secular historical sources. These are the Jews who fled Jerusalem when the Greek King Antiochus IV Epiphanes took over the Temple. These Jews were led by the descendant of Onias, the last true High Priest of the Temple before the Greeks took over. These Jews fled to Ptolemaic Egypt, and built a new Temple at Heliopolis (right next to present day Cairo). Unlike the Maccabees, who were agreeing to recognize the Seleucid Greek Kings for political reasons, these Jews enjoyed the hands off approach of the Ptolemaic Greek rulers in Egypt. I haven't been able to verify this yet, but it seems logical and likely that the Traditional Jews who fled to Ptolemaic Egypt would have rejected the Seleucid Greek kings as valid rulers of Jerusalem. To be honest, I can see the merits in both approaches... that of the Maccabees, and also of that of the Jews who fled to Ptolemaic Egypt. Honestly, this would be a very good discussion to have, since it seems to be the parallel for the current discussion today between Sedevacantism and Non-Sedevacantism. Anyway, I hope I indirectly answered your question! My goal is to objectively and accurately research, understand and present the parallels b/w the Old Testament and Church history. If God has caused this to happen, then I want to get out of the way and let His work speak for itself. There is, however, one important piece of information that changes the 'chemistry' of these parallels. Antiochus IV Epiphanes is widely seen as the most prominent and most straightforward prefigurement of the Anti-Christ. If you stir that into the equation, some different implications rise to the surface. Ave Maria! Below are two links to loosely support what I was saying above. However, these are only Wikipedia articles, and the articles don't seem to adequately understand the deep religious motivations of these two groups below. However, they do give a basic understanding. There are better articles out on the web somewhere... I just didn't take the time to track them down right now. Click below, and scroll down to the section entitled "Maccabean Rule" Maccabean Rule vis a vis Seleucid Greek KingsClick below for a basic description of Jews who fled to Egypt. I think this is all quite interesting maccabeanuprising. In the video it compares Queen Esther, the Old Testament heroine to Pope Pius XII interceding on behalf of the underground German resistance against the terms of the Lateran Treaty. I think you might also find it interesting that it has been written that Our Lady of Fatima was prefigured by Queen Esther. In fact Our Lady of Fatima wears the Star of Esther on her gown. You can see the Star of Esther near the bottom of her gown in these images of Our Lady of Fatima. The May 2009 issue of the Fatima Crusader ran the short article titled "What is that Star?" www.fatimacrusader.com/cr92/cr92pg56.pdf"Hidden Revelations: The Star of Esther and the Secrets of Fatima" as it was printed in the May 2008 issue of Catholic Family News. keepingitcatholic.blogspot.ca/2008/05/hidden-revelations-star-of-esther-and.htmlNow it would be interesting if we could compare the upcoming triumph of Our Lady of Fatima and the period of peace to Queen Esther. Maybe a future heroine during a period of persecution, like Queen Esther. This may not fit in chronological order like your video though.
