(Background: in the last year or so there have been numerous discussions on the content of the book, True or False Pope, by Robert Siscoe and John Salza, on the Suscipe Domine discussion board. An excellent poster by the name "Nazianzen" along with some other excellent posters have done a tremendous amount of work demonstrating point by point the dangerous errors and methods these men have used in writing their book. With that said, the forum that hosted these discussions has now hidden them from public view, and I have been able to obtain copies of them which I am now sharing with all of you on the Trad Forum. The errors of Siscoe and Salza play on ignorance, the posts of Nazianzen and the other excellent posters help to break through their sophistry, and by that insulate the reader from falling for their clever tricks, i.e. manipulating texts, presenting heterodox sources as though they are Catholic, using inflammatory and emotional language to appeal to the passions, etc. ) Can a Pope Become a Heretic found HERE

Thank you for posting and saving Nanzienzens stuff. All of his stuff should really be put into a spectacular webpage that refutes the Salza Siscoe garbage sort of like the baptism of desire page that so ably defeats the Feeneyites.

Thank you for posting and saving Nanzienzens stuff. All of his stuff should really be put into a spectacular webpage that refutes the Salza Siscoe garbage sort of like the baptism of desire page that so ably defeats the Feeneyites. You're welcome, Nazianzen's work on this is priceless, and my fear is that the forum hosting his work is not concerned about it or see the value in it, (they recently removed the entire subforum from public view) so that is why I decided to make sure it does not disappear. I like your idea of a website for it, but in the meantime, this subforum will be a place where Catholics can come and find the truth and will be able to find their way through Siscoe and Salza's maze of sophistry. I also plan on linking Fr. Kramer's excellent work exposing their errors as well.

Whats wrong with this website? We're posting it here...why reinvent the wheel Good point. The only disadvantage to this format though is that a search engine will not be able to find things in the threads, since it is buried in the Google Drive. I was planning on getting around that by typing out some keywords for each thread for each one so people searching will be able to find us. If anyone here wants to help it would be much appreciated, just type out a summary of the linked thread, along with some important key words and post it on each thread in the TOFP Refutation library, where it belongs. It won't take long for the Google crawlers to scan your post, and lead people to where they need to go on here for whatever point they are researching. I am happy to do it, but it is time consuming, so I would certainly appreciate any help.
