Please remember my family and our renters in your prayers these next few days...
The main rental house on our property caught on fire this morning around 3 am, and we are still accessing the damages. No one was hurt, thanks be to God, but my mother is a mess between having to talk the fire and rescue squad, the renters, and the insurance company...

Oh dear! I'm so sorry. I hope and pray that dealing with the surrounding issues will go quickly.

Thank you all for the prayers!
The renters have friends they are staying with until they find a new place to rent. I think that the Red Cross is helping them also.
Thankfully, my parents have good insurance. So, the repairs should mostly be covered. Thanks be to God!
God bless!
Rita

The firefighters believe that it was a pile of ashes/coals that the renters put outside which were not completely cooled off. Then between having a lot of wind during the night and it having been so dry out here; that is what started the fire. The renters also had not maintained the fire alarms. So, they were not working. The father of the family woke up to the smell of smoke and managed to get everyone out, but they lost everything including his ID and wedding ring...
