I agree with you Rita, Catholics should get to mass wherever and whenever they can, and only not go if there are very good reasons to not do so. I hope your son’s godfather will not sign those awful directories being imposed by RCI if he goes there. Has he ever thought about CMRI, their training is the best out of all the sedevacantists, at least as far as learning theology goes, and as far as I can see they are the only group that actually understands the crisis correctly. CMRI, unlike the others for example does not reject Pius XII’s laws and force prospective priests to sign a statement saying they will reject his laws, and they also clearly state that Catholics are free to go to any mass, and thereby reject Fr. Cekada and Bp. Sanborn’s junk theology that states that going to SSPX or others such as that is a mortal sin and akin to offering incense to false gods. I’m happy to hear Bishop Sanborn is changing, I haven’t heard that. I don't think the SGG split could be the underlying reason for any change in attitudes. Things got worse after that split, not better. I have heard of seminarians leaving MHT in the past few years because of problems with the culture there. Perhaps that was the wake up call for Bp Sanborn; when seminarians started rejecting his institution rather than the institution ejecting them.

Concerning Bishop Sanborn's New seminary... There are people I know who have said that his "break-up" with SGG and Dolan has mellowed him out a bit and that he has been more sympathetic towards people who don't agree with him on everything. That's really rather interesting. I wonder whether he's finally realised he'll find it a lot easier if he has many friends in low places as opposed to alienating everyone. We are hoping and praying for that! My husband even mentioned recently how Bishop Sanborn during a sermon talked about how technically novus ordo people are still Catholics as the Church hasn't condemned the novus ordo. Many other extreme sedes I know wouldn't have made an effort to talk about that. 😇

Does anyone know the name of Sanborns seminary...I want to check in to see progress but I forget Most Holy Trinity Seminary mostholytrinityseminary.org/They kept the same name when they moved. Father Petrizzi who is a priest there is the son/brother of some people who go to our chapel every other week. From what I have heard they finally got their occupancy permit and are officially doing classes there now. It sounds like they still have a lot to unload but that is understandable. 😅

Well they Dont have Public Masses at the Seminary...Ive been driving past it all summer going to work and didnt realize Yes, that is true. I remember hearing that they don't plan to have a public chapel at the seminary. They have a private one that barely fits their seminarians and priests. They are looking for a church to buy though to make into a chapel near by I believe.
