Hi all,
Please excuse my absence. The latest issues in the world are affecting me personally, so I have been very distracted, and my time and attention has been more on survival rather than other issues. Things are at least stable now, so I am hoping to start posting again on here, most especially resources again.
For those aware of my situation, who prayed for me, I will be forever in your debt.

Glad to hear it! Hope things haven't been too stressful for you and your family.
I think we all have been rather preoccupied recently with the current events and daily life. Most of us hardly seem to get on much any more. 😅

Most of us hardly seem to get on much any more. 😅 Yes, I agree. Thank you Rita. What we are witnessing is clearly something new and dangerous. We are watching a new chapter open up, and one that leaves the way things were behind. It seems to me that the Apocalypse is moving forward, although I am not sure yet what stage we are at. For myself, I have lost my livelihood. The choices we must make now for Christ carry very real consequences.

It is completely understandable that you would not have had the time to be here because of that... What did you do for a job before? Will remember you in our prayers.

My employment is hanging by the thread as well due to the “vaccine” mandate. Please be ensured that intentions for you and your family are in my family’s daily Rosary.

These mandates are heartless and lack common sense.

Thank you for the prayers Rita! If you want to chat in PM, I'll be happy to talk to you about my previous employment. I ask to see if maybe there might be someone I know who could direct you to a replacement job. I know it is a shot in the dark but at any rate we have been remembering you in our daily rosary. I am grateful that my husband's religious exemption went through... We were preparing to lose everything... Hang in there!

I make about 1/3 what I used to make, but thats ok. I would rather make less money than have compromised and gotten that horrible shot. I am happy for your husband. I think a lot depends on how hard the company is pushing it. Where I formerly worked, every single employee that filed for exemptions was denied, both religious and medical. If you didn't get the shot, you lost your job. They were cruel and tool a hard line on this.

If you didn't get the shot, you lost your job. They were cruel and tool a hard line on this. Many companies have been rather brutal about it. I think it helps that my husband's company is smaller and actually cares for their employees more than most. That being said, we are still trying to be prepared if it should later be required anyhow. We are on the same page as you in regards to not taking it shot. We are just grateful to have a little respite before perhaps having to have him lose his job eventually anyhow. Phew... What crazy times we live in... I am grateful to hear that you at least have a job that covers the bills. God surely provides for those who love Him and trust in Him. We will continue to pray for you during this trying time.
