we succumbed to pressure and vaccinated our oldest son as a baby...he was never the same since.. to this day..I utterly regret I had not the knowledge I have now Don't be too hard on yourself. You're not unlike most other parents in this world. It really is a devil's bargain though: one shot to prevent your child from dying from a "deadly illness" so that they can remain with you in this world vs trusting in Divine Providence knowing that God will take care of them and if they leave this world to be with God it is his will. At its core it is a problem of naturalism vs supernaturalism. Parents don't want to "lose" their children, but your child's soul is much better off in heaven, though it will grieve you to lose them at a young age. When you realise that illness is the manifestation of the body's detoxification processes and that the germ theory of disease is a long-con to get you to inject yourself and your children with toxic substances and consume pharmaceuticals that interrupt the healing crisis by suppressing symptoms thereby making you sicker in the long run then trusting in Divine providence becomes a lot easier. Thanks John. I know I’m a year late to this post lol but it’s one that hits home for me. I was diagnosed with Asperger’s in middle school and also suffered from intermittent migraines. My parents became absolutely sure that it was because of my childhood vaccinations as they stated I changed as a child after receiving the majority of them. As an 80’s - early 90’s kid my vaccination schedule is minuscule compared to that of my niece and nephews today and I have pled with my sister not to go along with it… to mixed results. It stinks because I’m the socially awkward, single guy who prays all day and so everyone in my family, beyond my parents, don’t give much weight to my objections and observations I think. If I ever do meet a godly Catholic woman who would be crazy enough to spend her life with me, I’d pray that they would be as adamant as myself against vaccination in most cases.
