I don't know how soon afterwards I will be able to post and give an update, but please pray for the safe delivery and baptism of our baby who is due this Friday.

Thank you all for the prayers! I have had contractions starting and stopping, but nothing regular yet. If baby doesn't come by Easter we may have to go to the hospital since we will be past 42 weeks at that point... Here's hoping baby comes within the next week or so instead, but God knows best.

Went into early labor yesterday evening around dinner. Labor is progressing slowly but surely. Contractions got lengthier between each one last night so I could sleep. About 4 cm dilated now so still not yet to active phase.
Thank you for the prayers! 😇

Little Alexander Stephen was born 6:14 Palm Sunday monrning. It was a very long labor (61 hrs. starting from early labor until end and 25 hrs. after water broke). Baby came just in time so we did not have to go to the hospital. We are still trying to catch up on sleep, but I am just grateful everything went smoothly in the end. Baby came out a bit in distress but my mother and a midwife friend were able to resesitate him. I am sure your prayers played a big part in that. Thank you!

Congratulations. I will light a candle at the Easter Vigil tonight for God’s blessings on you, your husband and God’s gift to you, your baby.
