I cannot tell you how angry and violated I feel...and vulnerable...when I discover someone has stolen something. Firstly I look around like an idiot for hours even days thinking maybe I misplace the missing thing....then my blood boils. I think the muzzies got the cutting off the hand thing right. My husband could have wrote this! lol. I won't mention what my husband said his first thought was if he were to catch him here at night. The stealing is annoying, yes. But what bothers me so much is that someone is brave enough to steal things from us, and they do it at night when they know my husband is not home. What else would they be brave enough to do? You are probably right that they need to be turned in if we catch them. The cops in our small town are very lazy though, I doubt anything would happen. Who knows maybe this event will turn him from stealing if he suffers some consequences.

Did you have that much of it that the neighbors would know about it? They know we have rabbits, and I know the kid snoops around our place. He was foolish enough to give himself away one time by asking what that big red object was on our porch. The porch is out of site from the road, there's no way he could have known except for wandering around in our yard. Also, I catch him watching us a lot. When I look across the street I often see him dart back behind his porch. Strange behavior. One time he was asking my husband all about our house. I didn't find that too weird because our house is really old and unique. But then he asked my husband which one was the bathroom window. I slept at my MIL's house for 2 nights after than incident and have been jumpy ever since. The kid creeps me out (he's a teenager). My husband leaves for work at 9:30 p.m. and the past few nights I've heard the fertilizer barrel banging in the back yard at around 10:00. He knows when my husband leaves for work, and probably also knows that I'm too chicken to come outside at night. He would be right. I hate it when my husband leaves for work at night. I have known kids like that, and they tend to give me the creeps too... The problem is that when a person has no moral code keeping them from doing things, they tend to commit a number of horrendous crimes. I will be praying for you and your family, and that this situation somehow becomes resolved... In the meantime, keep fighting and may God bless you with the strength to bear this cross!

Ask the local police to cruise through about the same time everynight.

Thankyou, Rita!
@ Voxx- My husband is on it. Things turned unfriendly when the kid asked which was the bathroom window. The camera is suppose to get here tomorrow. He lives with his grandparents. He thought about going over there to talk with his grandpa (and take a peek at their garden to see if it had anything of ours scattered on it) but decided not to for various reasons. He'd rather catch him on camera and proceed from there. We don't have a lot of confidence in the police here, but if the cameras don't work maybe we could get them to cruise the area that time of night- I didn't think about that. He goes to school here in town.
