Or, what are you planning on doing? The idea is that this will be an ongoing thread to generate conversation.
Today the plan is to cage the tomatoes and get them mulched. Mulch the peppers, and plant the blueberries. Before planting the blueberries I need to amend the soil with some coffee grounds to make the soil more acidic. Blueberries like acidic soil.

Watered it . I do need to steal my tomatoes, but I don't think I'll have time today. Last weekend, we got everything mulched and composted, so we are good there. In a few weeks, I'll add some more compost, I think.

How do you incorporate your compost, Munda? Our compost is growing, but our main source of fertilizer right now is rabbit droppings.

I'm going to try to get the rest of the herbs and medicinal plants in the ground, because rain is coming and I don't want to have to water if I don't need to.

We need rain! Send some down south . Jen, it's very composted cow manure and hay. It's pretty much organic soil at this point, so I planted the tomatoes directly in it (in huge tubs), then put fresh hay on top of the soil to help with moisture. I'll probably just add another layer of composted soil around the whole container and base of the plants, then add another layer of hay. I've never really done it this way before, so I'm kind of winging it. The plants look really healthy so far....nice and green.

I thought maybe her to tomato plants were a tad possessive of their fruit.

This past week I planted half my potatoes. The other half I'll do this week. We're really late this year but my husband had a huge project going in April and I didn't want to bother him. By the time he went to buy seed potatoes they were out, but I found some last week. We are going to give it a try even though it's late. I would have used potatoes from last year but ALL of our Yukon Gold potatoes had Hollow Heart. Our other varieties didn't. I won't plant YG again. I planted corn and beans. I weeded strawberries. I planted a few sunflowers and flowers. I planted watermelon, cantalope, pumpkins, squash, cucumbers, and zucchini. This week I'll transplant tomatoes, peppers, and eggplant. My chard is not looking too great, which is unusual, so I may plant some more. Other things already in and up are lettuce, radishes, onions, broccoli, and peas. We're going to have a busy summer.

The flowers and leaves. I've tried to like dandelion tea, but I don't find the taste very agreeable. It's a shame, it's said to have many health benefits.

Yes, I'd say you'll be busy! Gardening is a good thing to busy ones self with I think. I've planted potatoes very late before and they made it. The tops got really big, so we didn't get as much tuber growth as we would have liked, but that's ok. That's too bad about your YG's. They are our favorite kind. The texture is so creamy- butter isn't even needed. If we get our potatoes in the ground on time, new potatoes are ready at about the same time the dill is and they go great together. We're done with radishes for the year here- too hot for them now. Our broccoli did nothing but produce huge leaves, but our lettuce and spinach are giving us more than we can eat.
