Dear Friends on my favorite Traditional Catholic Forum, Just wanted to take a minute to thank you all for your many prayers for me over the past year! I went to meet my beau's parents and family the week before Thanksgiving and as of a little over two weeks ago we are now engaged! His sister Sarah has been going to the traditional Mass with him every Sunday and is seriously considering becoming a Catholic! The rest of his family also seem somewhat interested in traditional Catholicism, but not quite as enthusiastic as my fiance's sister. None of my family will even consider leaving the novus ordo. So, it is great to see that Andrew's family is much more open to the idea! Please keep them in your prayers! We plan to have a small family wedding at the end of June next year after Andrew gets out of the Air Force. He plans to relocate to Nothern, VA because he works in IT, that is a good place for such a job, and we will also be close to most of my family. His parents, who live in TN, are also considering relocating to VA, but that will probably still be at least a couple years in the making as they have a 50 acre farm they are fixing to sell first. Lots of changes and preparations ahead... So, if I am not on here as much, that is why. However, do know that I still think of you all and keep you in my prayers! Sincerely, Rita

This is the best news I've heard in some time. I'm so happy for you, Rita! Not going to lie, I squealed and clapped when I saw it. Your husband to be hit the jackpot. God bless you both, and both of your families.

Wonderful news. I am happy and excited for you.
I'm glad you announced this now because I am about to take a break from forums for Advent and might have missed it.

God bless you both, and both of your families. Glad to have been able to give you some good news! And I will admit I chuckled quite a bit at the mental image presented in my mind of you squealing and clapping... I love how enthusiastic you always get! It helps keep up my moral! Thank you for all of the prayers you have offered for me during this time of discernment!!!
