While looking back to find the book by Fr. Malachi Martin that I referenced in the Cardinal Pell thread (I believe it was Windswept House?), I came across this interview by him regarding a secret ceremony that was performed by satanists in the Vatican: the enthronement of Lucifer in St. Paul's Chapel on June 29, 1963. Is this just a conspiracy theory? Or is there more evidence of this?

Theres no direct proof and I would not be following much of Malichi Martin as he had a very dubious career with many questions. And not about his personal character per se...but his historical and theological positions.(and dont forget a financially succesful FICTION writer) Now that said it would not suprise me considering the state of Rome today. In fact it would explain a lot. Does this scandalize you if it were true?

I just watched Malichi Martin's documentary on Netflix "Hostage to the Devil". He seemed to say all the right things but there many things that were dubious about his past.
Just watching the footage of him, I got a weird, and not altogether good, feeling about him. I know that doesn't count as evidence but...
In answer to your question, yes it would. Wouldn't it you? There was apparently mention of the event by Paul VI too, for what it's worth.

By scandelize I mean "to drive away from" the Church...and just the contray...if one considers that the See of Peter is the very epicenter of the Battle between Christ and Lucifer for the Souls of mankind...and as such it is the peak of the mountain both ultimate good and ultimate evil would be present. If one is in a war...the frontline of that war is where the Generals send their strongest weapons and warriors...the stronger the fortress the bigger and the largest of forces will be arrayed by the enemy. Problem is this event, if it happened, is as chaff before the Almighty Lord Jesus Christ...Lion of Judah.

To be honest, it does much to drive me away from anything related to the current occupants of the Vatican and those allied or in communion with them.
