Is it correct to say that the Roman rite offers WITH the pope and the Eastern rite prays FOR the pope?

Is it correct to say that the Roman rite offers WITH the pope and the Eastern rite prays FOR the pope? Both Roman and Eastern Rites pray for the Pope. This question was discussed at length on the Bellarmine Forums in 2007 in the thread, "The Meaning of the Una Cum Clause," linked HERE I recommend reading the thread in its entirety, but for readers short on time, this post from Mr. Lane makes this point clear and indisputable:

I just went to my first Byzantine Catholic DL and they prayed for the pope at least 4 or 5 times. It was the only part of the Mass I didn't like. The rest was just beautiful.

Yeah--Inusually pray for him to convert, retire or die--but definitely in that order.
