We were gifted a bunch of pork tenderloins today. I'm pretty excited about it, but I've never actually cooked one. What is your favorite way to cook pork tenderloin? Souvlaki: Marinade: lemon juice, garlic, white wine, salt, pepper, oregano and bay. You can cube and skewer it or grill it whole. Serve with pita, tomato, onion and tzatziki sauce (about 3 cups plain yogurt, 1/2 grated English cucumber, two cloves garlic grated, salt, pepper, lemon juice, dried mint optional) I also make rice pilaf with this. Other marinade: lemon juice, turmeric, garlic, salt, pepper, Garam masala, cumin, olive oil-- skewer and grill or grill whole You can also butterfly and pound it out with a meat mallet stuff it and tie it back up. One time I stuffed it with veggies, cream cheese mixed with garlic and chives, tied it back up and smoked it. Okay and I guess most people just marinate and quickly roast it, if you do teriyaki it is very easy to burn the sauce. Make sure to take your temperature with a meat thermometer, it's not very good when it's dried out.

Thankyou, Clotilde! Those all sound really tasty. I'll probably try a marinade first. I don't have a smoker, but I think doing the wrap and throwing it on the grill would produce a satisfactory result as well. And just for grins I'll probably wrap it in a layer of bacon.

I think I did wrap it in bacon. If you put bacon on a grill, just watch for flare-ups!

I think the most important thing about pork is be sure to cook slowly so that it cooks thoroughly and retains its moisture. We often bake it at a low temperature and then put all natural barbecue sauce on top for the last ten minutes in the oven! So yummy!!!
