what are you feasting on for Easter? I ask because I can't make up my mind on what to cook!

We are eating elsewhere but I'm technically not cooking. I don't like ham so I'm bringing some keftedes with tzatziki and a charcuterie and cheese plate.
I've just finished making the candies for the Easter baskets.

I think I'll make ham, deviled eggs, some sort of bread, green bean casserole and lemon meringue pie. And we'll have some red wine, of course. Also, fresh salad from the garden.

The SSPX parish I was at had deviled eggs, bread and red wine at 1:30 in the morning. It was wonderful.

I'm not sure sure Catholics should be eating "deviled" eggs. Sounds scandalous

I stayed home with the new baby. I had cereal, toast, leftover spaghetti noodles, ice cream, two pieces of dessert someone had left me and some candy. Then when hubby got home at 930 i had two ham sandwiches and some veggie layer salad. Happy Easter everyone:)

I jumped ship and went the easy route. I threw a pork roast in the oven at 7 am with all the fixings, traveled to Mass, and when we got back at 4 pm, dinner was ready for the table. It was just our little family, so no need for anything elaborate this year.

Growing up, we ate it almost every Easter, then we had gnocchis with the leftover potatoes the next day.

Yes ham is only good for sandwiches...if then. Like if you are choosing between nothing and a ham sandwich, and you are hungry. Last pick of the Lunch Meats!

I'm not a big ham fan. Ham and beans is really tasty about once a year. Sometimes I get a craving for a ham sandwich, but that's about it.
