I have departed Protestantism after years of struggle and prayer. I accept the teachings of the Holy Catholic Church, but I have no church near me, no priest to whom I can make confession, and no solid grounding in the Faith, other than my own reading. I'm very isolated and would like to establish friendships with traditional Catholics. I started a fledgling blog at www.incensepencils.wordpress.com and hope to update it regularly. Prayers are much appreciated...I am prone to keen awareness of how isolated and solitary I am, and I fight dejection. I'm hoping that this online community may at least substitute in some ways for a real Catholic community, until I can find a good church where I can assist at Mass and join in the life of the parish. I'm grateful for the Trad Cath Forum!

I'm grateful for the Trad Cath Forum! Welcome to the friendliest traditional Catholic forum online, Kendallo! It has always been tough for me that none of my family members are traditional Catholics. Yet, everyone on here is super friendly and we are almost like a big happy Catholic family, and they help to make it up that my family members do not agree with me on religious questions. We are all here for you if you ever have any questions, want ideas for Mass locations in your area, or just want to chat about what is going on in your life. Oh, and your blog looks great so far! Keep it up!
