I can't understand how any Catholic is not a sedevacantist at this point. And how many actually are, 100? I truely don't know but it seems like it is very very few. I feel sometimes that I tripped and fell into an alternate universe. Do Catholics not notice that this is the message of the antichrist? Not a jerk, a sinner, a stupid uneducated idiot, a fool, but an antichrist.

I feel sometimes that I tripped and fell into an alternate universe. Do Catholics not notice that this is the message of the antichrist? Not a jerk, a sinner, a stupid uneducated idiot, a fool, but an antichrist. I agree with what you say, that it could not be more obvious when he is pounding us over the head with his apostasy. In my opinion, what holds people up is the complexity of the core principles involved in making judgments without the benefit of authority. In my experience, very few Catholics understand the principles involved, including "sedevacantists," who get it right about Francis, but still don't understand the principles that are supposed to get them to that end correctly. The most carefully written and well sourced tract on this published to date was titled, The Right To Judge Heresy, John Daly, 2000. I just posted it in the resource library HERE
In my opinion, though, many Catholics are also stalled by a fear of making an illicit judgment, and by disobeying Our Lord who strictly warned against making judgments. The Church is built on authority, and Catholics want their lawful authorities to deal with this problem, freeing themselves from the burden of making a judgment on their own. I sympathize with their predicament, and I also wish that we could just rely on our lawful authorities, such as the remaining members of the hierarchy and the clerics of Rome to step in and deal with this problem, freeing us from this burden of making a private judgment on the matter. But, the fact is that 50 years has now gone by, and the legitimate office holders have not stepped up, most likely because they themselves are confused on these matters.

"To build a society that puts the human person at its center?" I'm sorry but to get to Heaven takes the faith of a child. Catholics are not going to read what you just posted in the resource library, though I do apreciate it. This is no longer about juridical personal judgment, canon law... whatever. This is some serious doom here. I have read and read and watched all sorts of videos of the heresies of the antipopes we have suffered this last 50 years and all that I needed to see was Assissi. All that I needed to see was Ratzinger sitting in front of the Resurrection "artwork". All that I needed to see was our Lord's body and blood removed from the altar and placed in some alcove. This is simple stuff here and it gets simpler by the day. This man Bergoglio has just called on the Catholic Church to replace God with the human person in words any mental defective can understand. This is no longer sophistry that the layman can say, "That sure sounds like heresy but I must misunderstand." At some point there will be culpability attached to accepting this antipope as God's vicar here on Earth. This is so brazen, I am stunned, just stunned. And I'm mostly stunned by the complete lack of reaction. This is totally apocalyptic and we're just discussing to what extent can we personally judge heresy. Is nobody with any voice or authority going to stand up and say or do anything? I have no voice, I have no authority, I will not follow this antipope, but who cares. What about all the other Catholics, what are they thinking? They are insane, that's my only explanation. They can't be abandoning God to worship man, they must just all have lost their minds.

If it were just a matter a recognizing Francis or the other post-Vatican II claimants as heretics, apostates and sectarians that is the easy part. I am in agreement that a Catholic can recognize the fact of these men being heretics with their Catholic sense alone. I can relate a story that was told to me some years back: in 1965, a Catholic gentleman was watching Paul VI's speech to the United Nations and most especially when Paul VI praised the U.N. as the last great hope for mankind, that he realized right then and there that this man was not a Catholic. Sometimes Catholics can, by the grace of God, just come to this conclusion, while for others it may take years of thought, study and deliberation. For others, they may not reach this conclusion, while at the same time keeping their Faith. But, what I a referring to in my post above, goes beyond the initial judgment in regards to these men being heretics. There are other matters at play in all of this beyond the individual private judgment of our conscience.

Erica, you are quite right that the apostasy is blazingly obvious and that people don't care. I think the vast majority of so-called Catholics don't have the Catholic faith and can't help acting as unregenerate human nature leads them. They seem not to grasp such basic religious concepts as the existence of God and the duty to worship Him. People who actually practice a religion (even a false religion taken seriously) are a mystery to them.

How about a description of Mr. Bergoglio's exciting new program, written back in 1849?

This is so incredibly stupid but I was really awaiting the collective gasp from the entire Catholic world in response to this video. They don't like it and they find it Marxist and some even note this is the same teaching as in Gaudium Et Spes. Why yes! It is, so...That's it, now they are just going to bitch and complain about the new sex ed program. I do not understand this at all. If this guy has a public black mass, Catholics are going to complain about it. I know Sedevacantists have probably felt this way about a million outrageous heresies and apostasies coming out of the NO church and the "popes" so I don't know why I felt like this video was it. Nobody can put up with this. Replacing God with the human person?! In a world wide video in laymen's simple terms. Catholics will run this guy out on a rail, nope. I am just a really silly person I guess.
