I only shop at Target when I absolutely have no other choice (which means travelling out of town), and here is another reason to avoid it: perversion support
It also has an online ad featuring a very effeminate boy "Jesse", as Target's beauty consultant! Makes me gag. I hit mute and then "skip" if/when it comes on. Genisis 9:13-15 I will set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be the sign of a covenant between me, and between the earth. And when I shall cover the sky with clouds, my bow shall appear in the clouds: And I will remember my covenant with you, and with every living soul that beareth flesh: and there shall no more be waters of a flood to destroy all flesh. What a promise... It is nauseating to see perverts twist the meaning for their own demented ends. I don't think He made the same promise after destroying Sodom and Gomorrah though so maybe we have fire and brimstone to look forward to...

Same thing here. I've always known they were a liberal company but I recently decided that the only way I will shop there will be if I have no other choice. We don't have a lot of stores around here, so I've been going to Kohls (45 minute drive) and trying to buy on Amazon. I know the CEO of Amazon is a horrible person too, but the closest choice is Walmart, and I can't afford to shop there and replace things 20 minutes later when they break.
However, we have gone from purchasing a few items at Target 3-4 times a year down to zero hopefully.

We've stopped shopping at Target as well.
Some make the argument that if we were to boycott every agency that offended our religious principles we wouldn't be able to shop anywhere. Therefore, shop where you would like, and ignore their liberal nonsense. I agree with the first part, that we'd have to boycott everything if we wanted it perfect, but IMO the line must be drawn somewhere. Target has crossed that line for my husband and I. The writing was on the wall when they published the statement that said they weren't going to sell baby clothes according to gender.

We stopped going to Target completely within the past year. Mainly I try now to buy second hand since I can't hardly stomach Walmart either. Kmart nearby closed a few years ago.

I missed the baby clothes announcement.
I put Target last on my list years ago when they changed Christmas to "Holiday" and kicked Salvation Army bell ringers out. Don't know if they ever let SA back on the property but I thought it pretty low to kick out an organization that collects money for the poor.
Finding decent places to shop is hard now, even my mom who lives in a upscale part of CA has fewer and fewer retail options and for her shopping is a hobby.

Shopping is as bad as pulling teeth for me. I will wait and wait until I absolutely HAVE to go (for anything besides food), and then I'm in and out as quickly as possible. I've always been that way for some reason. The only exceptions would be at Catholic book stores or fabric stores.
