Salvete! I was introduced to this forum fairly recently by a friend after I asked for some resources about the NUC question. I stopped going to the new Mass when I was 16 almost eight years ago and have been going to the 'Indult' for the majority of that time, though occasionally the SSPX. I have recently found myself having to reevaluate my position as I've been having to do a lot of research and thinking due to the family of the young woman I'm seeing being 'home-alone'. I stopped going to the 'Indult' a month or two ago and I am now going to the SSPX, but I realise now that their position on the Papacy and authority is incoherent, though that does not stop them from being Catholic. Having adopted the 'Interregnumite' or 'Bellarminist' position (as I like to call it), I don't now think that any of the traditional groups are free from problems, though that will not prevent me from receiving the Sacraments from them. I intend to do serious research using authoritative pre-Conciliar sources to help me understand the crisis.

You need valid sacraments, and I am happy that you are going to mass. You are also correct that all of the groups have problems, and in my opinion, the SSPX seems to be the group with the least issues, with the exception of allowing some cross-over priests to join them and not be conditionally ordained. This, in my opinion, is their biggest flaw, more than any other issue.

Thanks, Pacelli. Your posts in particular have been very helpful as has this forum in general (the books on epikeia and canon 209 in the resources section should be more widely read in my opinion; I am going through them now). The WM Review has also been helpful, one of the writers of which recommended this forum to me.
