Some questions I have as well as odds and ends.
What are your favorite flowers to grow?
Does anyone have advice for growing leeks?
Any advice for growing tomatoes? I have never had any luck.
Is it a good idea to make an indoor lemongrass plant?
Also what are some easy to grow plants that you enjoy?

Any advice for growing tomatoes? I have never had any luck. Grape or cherry tomatoes are much easier to grow than large tomatoes, because partial success is good enough. It's so frustrating when you have a large green tomato and then bugs eat it or the plant dies. The microclimate where you grow the tomatoes makes all the difference. My sister puts them in large pots at the end of her driveway facing West, shaded by her house to the East. It's quite warm and sunny in the afternoons there. The tomato plants have been fantastic. I don't know exactly why. Experiment with different locations and see if something works well.

I like Perennial flowers because after I plant them they come back year after year with minimal work except for maybe some trimming. Some of my favorites are Hydrangeas, Roses, Day Lilies, Peonies, Rose of Sharon, Columbine, Johnny Jump Ups, Saint John's Wort, Echinacea and Lilacs.
I am trying to introduce quite a number of new herbs and flowers to our yard/garden this year by seeds (SO much less expensive): Rosemary, Thyme, Fennel, Sage, Dill, Mint, Lemonbalm, Lavender, Caraway, Oregano, Parsley, chives and Mexican Tarragon.
I am not familiar with leeks or lemon grass, but would love to hear how those work out for you! 😅
Here are some easy to grow vegetables my family usually plant every year:
Early in Spring: Beets, Radishes, Lettuce, peas, and potatoes.
After Last Frost: Cucumbers, squash, zucchini, corn, tomatoes, and peppers.
Peppers and tomatoes seem to be a hit or miss each year but varying where you plant them seem to help. And like the other person here said, cherry tomatoes are definitely easiest. 😅

Is it a good idea to make an indoor lemongrass plant? Hi Vincenzo, Which climatic zone are you living in? What is your soil type. These things will have a strong bearing on the type of advice one might give.
