Sometimes I run across plants in my yard that don't seem like weeds... but I can't tell... so this would be a good thread to post pictures of mysterious plants for identification.

You are in a warmer zone than I, it looks like it might be a variety of marigold but it's hard to tell without a flower.

Looked it up, might be feverfew. I guess it has a particular scent when you crush the leaves so, that might be one to check out.

It sort of smelled like that. We had a little patch of this grow up in my parents garden next to our rhubarb. My mom asked us not to pull it up as she also thought it was some sort of wild celery. She has treated ot as such and eaten it for at least a few years now I think? 🙃 By the way... Great idea for a thread! 😉
